History

Yahalom Software, the creator of SynSign, has been at the forefront of digital signage for more than nine years.

Our team has designed, developed, and deployed countless signage systems — from lightweight, single-screen setups to advanced multi-display networks powered by robust server infrastructures. We’ve worked with both open-source platforms and commercial solutions, always tailoring each project to the unique needs of our clients.

With experience spanning multiple industries, countries, and languages, Yahalom Software brings proven expertise and deep understanding of what makes digital signage effective. This foundation led us to create SynSign — a modern, flexible solution built on years of hands-on experience.

With years of experience working across different digital signage platforms — their strengths as well as their weaknesses — Yahalom Software decided in 2019 to take a new approach. We set out to build a unique, open-source–based system tailored for a specific niche: non-Hebrew speaking synagogues. That project became the first version of SynSign.

While the system proved successful in its limited market, we knew we could create something much more powerful — a solution that was not only intuitive and user-friendly, but also accessible to anyone, anywhere, regardless of technical background.

Our work with clients made one thing especially clear: most digital signage systems became a burden to maintain. Non-technical users struggled to manage them, and even small changes — beyond swapping an image or updating a line of text — often came with high costs. Many clients simply chose to leave their content outdated rather than face the expense and complexity.

Drawing on all these lessons, in early 2025 we began developing the new SynSign — a system designed to remove those barriers and eliminate the frustrations of traditional digital signage.

About Yahalom Software

Yahalom Software, the company behind SynSign, was originally founded in 2012 as a non-profit called Yahalom (Hebrew for Diamond). The organization began with 12 IT professionals who refurbished used computers and donated them to those in need. Over the years, the focus shifted, but the name remained.

In 2017, Yahalom Software became a registered company — first in Israel, later in the Russian Federation (2019), and in Georgia (2022).

Since then, we’ve delivered hundreds of software solutions across nearly every field of development:

🌐 A major step forward: Yahalom Software is preparing a white-label solution for a large international organization with hundreds of offices — giving them a dedicated system built on SynSign.

📺 At the same time, we’re in early talks with local Smart TV vendors in Russia to embed SynSign TV directly into their operating systems as a built-in service.
